HR Consultant – Contract (Hybrid) – Los Angeles, CA

Provide on-site Anti-Harassment training and human resources consulting/investigating services for clients of Guardian HR in Los Angeles, CA. This may include, but is not limited to:
  • Presenting training sessions related to specific HR programs (Anti-Harassment, etc.) in English and Spanish is required.
  • Advising management on the administration of human resources policies and procedures
  • Analyzing a company’s current HR programs and recommending solutions
  • Ensuring HR programs and services are in compliance with established policies and procedures and state/federal laws and regulations
  • Preparing and maintaining reports related to specific HR projects
  • Developing methods for compiling and analyzing data for reports and special projects
  • Conducting audits of HR activities to ensure compliance
  • The HR Consultant will determine the method, details, and means of performing the various tasks required in the on-site consulting activities. Stock training videos and methods are provided.
This position requires the following minimum skills and experience:
  • Bilingual English (Spanish is required)
  • At least 5 years hands-on HR experience with knowledge of HR principles, functions, methods, and best practices
  • Excellent communication abilities both written and verbal
  • Computer Savvy with strong knowledge of MS Word and Outlook
  • Strong organization and solid research skills
  • Ability to explain ideas and concepts in a simplified manner
  • Preferably SPHR or SHRM-SCP certified
  • Reliable transportation
This is a part-time position on an as-needed contract basis. Days and hours of work are flexible and based on client need, but generally are during regular business hours of 8 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday to Friday.
